01Table lifts from lounge height to dining height
Lift the top from coffee level (mugs and books within reach, feet up on the corner sections) to dining level for plates and glasses, in one motion. One piece of furniture replaces two outside, leaving room for planters, a path through, or just the seating instead of two. Raise the table when food comes out, drop it back afterwards.
-
02Move the sections around to suit the patio
Sections that separate rather than being bolted into a fixed L-shape. Run them along a long terrace on one wall, tighten them around the table for everyday use, or pull a section away from a back-door swing when the bi-folds open wide. You arrange the layout to fit the patio rather than the other way round.
-
03Cappuccino Brown for warm-toned patios
The weave is a warm coffee-brown, softer than the dark grey rattan that has been the default for years. It looks right against warm-brick walls, timber decking, and sandstone in warmer shades, where a cool grey set can look like a slab on the floor. UV-stabilised, so the tone doesn't fade year on year.
-
04Built to live outside year-round
Aluminium frame with a 0.2mm powder coating, so it cannot rust. The hand-woven weave carries a UV-stabilisation treatment, so the Cappuccino doesn't fade through summer sun and winter frost. No cover needed at any point in the year.

What does the height-adjustable table actually do?
Lift the top from a low position for drinks and feet-up afternoons to proper eating level for plates and glasses, in one motion. The difference between a 45cm coffee-height table and a 70cm dining-height table is the difference between balancing a plate on your knees and eating properly. Drop the table low for an hour outside with the paper, then raise it when you carry plates out for Sunday lunch, then drop it again afterwards when the dishes clear.
The point of the adjustable mechanism is that most patios don't have space for both a coffee table and a separate dining set. We designed this set so a single piece of furniture serves both heights, which frees up the rest of the patio for the seating itself, for planters, or for the route past the bi-fold doors.
Can I rearrange the layout when the patio use changes?
Yes. The corner sections come apart and stand on their own, so you can arrange them around the patio shape rather than force the patio to fit a fixed L. Run the sections along a long terrace on one wall, tighten them into an L for everyday use, or slide one section clear of a back-door arc when the bi-folds open wide. Fixed-frame corner sofas commit you to one configuration on day one, and the garden use changes over a decade.
For hosting, spread the sections wider so a route through to the kitchen stays open. For day-to-day, pull them closer in around the lowered table. No tools, no commitment to a single configuration.
Is it really all-weather, no cover needed?
Yes. The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust, and we use a 0.2mm powder coating, two to three times thicker than what most aluminium garden furniture carries, so the coating doesn't break down through wet winters and freezing nights. The hand-woven synthetic rattan is UV-stabilised, so it won't fade, rot or go brittle when left outside year-round. The warm Cappuccino Brown doesn't fade through summer sun and winter frost.
The structure is fully weatherproof and doesn't need a cover, so it saves you the hassle and the £50 to £100 a cover would cost. In our experience, customers come back ten or fifteen years later saying their rattan is just as good as when they first bought it. Cushions are the only part you'll want to bring in of an evening; store them in a deck box on the patio or on a shelf indoors between sittings.
How does this compare to other large corner lounge sets at this price?
Cheaper large corner sets at this size use steel frames that rust within a couple of winters and PVC rattan that goes brittle in the sun. They pair the frame with a fixed-height table that locks you into drinks-height-only or dining-height-only, never both. You'd be replacing the set sooner and dealing with rust streaks on your paving in the meantime.
Considering a brand-name corner lounge set at £3,000 or more? You'd be paying mainly for the marketing and the polished website. The actual furniture is almost exactly the same as ours: aluminium frame, UV-stabilised rattan, modular corner sections, an adjustable table. We design our own ranges, with the Burbage 2026 Deluxe being our top-spec corner lounge, and sell it direct from our family-run Leicestershire showroom since 2001, without the excessive markup of big name brands.
