- HDPE Rattan That Won't Go Brittle: Every chair in this range uses UV-stabilised HDPE rattan, not PVC. Our HDPE holds its colour and flexibility through full UK winters and summers, and we've watched the same sets weather 15 years and still look right. PVC sets at cheaper price points go brittle over a couple of summers in direct sun, then start snapping at the joints when you sit down. Ours won't fade, won't rot, won't crack.
- Recline To Any Angle You Want: Each Burbage chair back reclines hydraulically to any angle, using an easy-to-use side handle on the chair arm. This is better than fixed angles because not everyone's back wants the same angle. Other reclining sets at this price point have three or four preset positions, which means settling for the closest one to comfortable. Our chairs let you find the spot that's right for your body, and stay there.
- Leave Outside All Year, No Cover Needed: Our sets can be left outside all year round without a cover. The aluminium frame cannot rust and the HDPE rattan doesn't fade or crack. - Thick Cushions With Washable Covers: Because we use 10cm-thick cushions, they don't compress as easily as cheaper, thinner cushions, so they support you over a long afternoon outside. The covers are removable and machine-washable, so spilled wine or the dog being on them isn't permanent damage. We prefer breathable fabric over waterproof coating, because waterproof cushions feel clammy and trap heat, kind of the same idea as leather car seats on a hot day.

We size each set by your patio: a 4-seater needs 2.3m x 2.3m, a 6-seater needs 3m x 3m. Our colour choice comes down to your garden's existing tone. Cappuccino suits warmer tones, latte is the middle option, and stone grey works best against modern paving.

Cappuccino is our warmest colour, suiting brick or timber gardens.
