- Aluminium Frame That Cannot Rust: We specify a 0.2mm powder coating on every frame, 2.5 to 3 times thicker than the coating most aluminium garden furniture frames use. Our coating seals the metal through repeated frost cycles, where a thinner one starts to flake at joints and bolt holes after a couple of British winters. We chose aluminium so the frame doesn't leave rust streaks creeping out from under the patio slabs by the second winter, the way steel-frame sets do. It holds its colour and flexibility through full British winters and summers. The PVC rattan that dominates the cheaper end of the category contains plasticisers that gas off under UV, leaving the weave brittle and prone to cracking at the joints by the second summer. HDPE is also non-toxic and recyclable; PVC is neither.
- Recline To Any Angle: Both reclining armchairs and the 3-seater sofa adjust to any angle, not just three or four preset positions. Lean back to whatever angle suits you that day, whether you're reading after lunch or watching the sky after the plates are cleared.
