Our Business

Garden Centre Shopping is a family-owned garden furniture retailer based in Sapcote, Leicestershire. We have been trading for 25 years and employ a small local team at our showroom and warehouse. We sell rattan garden furniture directly to customers across the UK through our website and our showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre.

Our Supply Chains

We source our garden furniture from a small number of established manufacturers. We have worked with most of our suppliers for several years and maintain direct relationships with their management teams. Our supply chain is deliberately simple: we buy finished goods from known suppliers, store them in our own warehouse in Leicestershire, and deliver them directly to customers.

Our Policies

We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. We expect the same standard from everyone we work with.

As a small family business, we rely on direct relationships rather than large compliance programmes. We know our suppliers personally, we visit their facilities, and we ask questions about their working practices. If we had any concern about the conditions in which our products were made, we would stop buying from that supplier.

Due Diligence

When selecting or reviewing suppliers, we consider:

Whether we have visited their facilities or have a direct relationship with their management
Whether they can demonstrate fair employment practices
Whether they operate in regions or industries with known risks of forced labour
How long we have worked with them and whether any concerns have been raised

Our People

Our team is based at our showroom and warehouse in Leicestershire, and everyone who works for us is paid at or above the National Living Wage.

This statement was approved by the Director of Sapcote Garden Centre LTD and will be reviewed annually.
