Can I leave this rattan dining set outside all year round?

The aluminium frame cannot rust, and the synthetic rattan is all-weather, so the set can stay outside all year round with no cover needed. We advise storing any soft furnishings you use separately, but the frame and rattan themselves are built for permanent outdoor exposure.

Is the glass top included with the table?

A glass top comes with the round dining table, giving you a flat surface that wipes clean after meals. If you've owned rattan tables without glass, you'll know how much easier it is for plates and serving dishes compared with eating directly on a woven surface.

Do I need to buy a cover for winter?

No cover is required. If furniture needs a cover to survive winter, it's not weatherproof - it's outdoor-tolerant. The aluminium frame cannot rust, so the set can stay outside all year round. A cover is optional if you want less cleaning, not for protection.

What's the difference between this and lower-cost 6-seater ratta

The frame material. Lower-cost 6-seater sets typically use steel, which corrodes from the inside out through joints and bolt holes once the coating breaks down. Will the cappuccino rattan fade in the sun?

Colour change is mainly a problem on lower-grade weaves that aren't made for UV exposure. This set uses all-weather synthetic rattan intended for outdoor use, so it holds its warmer cappuccino tone without needing to be shielded from the sun or treated like indoor furniture.

Can I see the Sharnford range in person before I buy?

Our showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre in Leicestershire is open for you to sit on the furniture and see the cappuccino colour in person before you decide. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff can talk you through storage, care, and what to expect from a stacking set day to day.

How much assembly is required?

Only the table. The chairs arrive fully assembled and stack when not in use. The table base is four panels that screw together and then screw to the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
