Which seats in the Burbage set actually recline?

The armchairs recline. The ottomans are fixed and work as footstools or extra seats. The set is sold as a "reclining sofa set" because the reclining comfort is part of the seating setup, but the recline function itself is on the armchairs.

Can I leave this reclining rattan sofa set outside all year?

The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust - so the structure stays outside all year round with no cover needed. The UV-stabilised HDPE rattan will not fade or go brittle in the sun. We advise storing the cushions away when you're not using them - the frame and rattan handle the weather, the cushions just need keeping dry.

What's the difference between this and cheaper reclining rattan

The big difference is what you can't see at first: the frame. Unlike steel-frame sets, aluminium cannot rust, so you're not relying on a cover to get through winter. We also use UV-stabilised HDPE rattan rather than PVC weave, which can crack and go brittle after a couple of summers in UV.

Does the wood-effect table top need treating like real wood?

It's a wood-effect top, not real wood - so there's no sanding, staining, or oiling involved. All you need to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth after food and drinks, and it's ready for the next use.

Are the cushions waterproof?

No, and that's deliberate. We avoid stiff plastic-coated cushions - they feel clammy, trap heat, and the coating cracks after a couple of summers in UV. These cushions are designed for comfort. All you need to do is store them indoors or in a storage box when you're finished.

Is the Latte colour the same as older Burbage Latte sets?

This is the updated 2020 Latte shade, which is slightly lighter than previous years. If you're trying to match existing furniture, that small change matters - especially when pieces are side-by-side on a patio.

Do you have a showroom where I can see the Burbage range?

Our showroom is at Sapcote Garden Centre in Leicestershire - you can walk in and sit on the furniture before you buy. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff are on hand 7 days a week for advice on layout, colour matching, or how the adjustable table works.

How much assembly is required?

Hardly any. Slot each backrest into its seat and you're done. No tools, no screws, no fittings. The table arrives assembled and ready to use.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
