Our bistro sets are made for two chairs and a table on a balcony, in a courtyard, or in the quiet corner of a larger patio. Garden Centre Shopping rattan bistro sets share one specification across the whole range: a powder-coated aluminium frame and UV-stabilised HDPE rattan. We chose those two materials because they survive a British year outdoors. Aluminium frames don't rust from the inside out the way steel does, and our HDPE rattan doesn't go brittle the way PVC does in direct UV. Our two-material build means you can stop thinking about your set in October and find it where you left it the following March.

• Aluminium Frame That Cannot Rust: Every bistro set in our range uses a 0.2mm powder-coated aluminium frame, 2.5 to 3 times thicker than the 0.06-0.08mm coating used as the industry standard on most aluminium garden furniture frames. Our coating thickness is what seals the metal through repeated frost cycles. None of our frames are steel, because steel rusts from the inside out and stains the patio orange underneath. Our frames cannot rust at all, and we back that with a 3-Year Rust-Free Structural Guarantee.
• HDPE Rattan That Won't Go Brittle: We specify UV-stabilised HDPE rattan on every bistro set, never PVC. We rejected PVC because PVC rattan goes brittle within one or two summers of direct UV and snaps at the weave joints when sat on. Our HDPE holds its colour and flexibility through full UK winters and summers. We've watched the same sets weather upwards of 10 years and still look right.
• Leave Outside All Year, No Cover Needed: Our sets stay outside on the patio through every British winter. We built them so the aluminium frame cannot rust and the HDPE rattan doesn't fade or crack, which means the set never needs a cover to survive. We removed three jobs from your November calendar: wrestling a cover on, retrieving it from next-door's garden after a windy night, and replacing it when it cracks through its second winter. Bring the cushions in when you're not using them, and that's the lot.
• Washable Covers, No Waterproof Coatings: Our cushions are non-waterproof on purpose. We didn't add a waterproof coating because coatings trap heat and crack after two summers of UV, and you end up clammy across your back, like sitting on leather car seats on a hot day. Our covers are removable and machine-washable at 30 degrees. Store the cushions in a deck box when you're not sitting on the set, and that's all the maintenance the bistro set needs.
• Ready Assembled or One Minute Setup: Every bistro set in our range arrives ready-assembled or with one connection step that takes about a minute. We hold them in stock at our Leicestershire warehouse, ready to ship in 3 to 7 working days. If you've spent a Saturday afternoon with an Allen key and a set of unhelpful instructions, you won't find either here.
• Sized for Two-Seater Spots: We selected the range around two-seater layouts that fit where a four-seater dining set won't. Our range covers fixed sets, stacking sets, reclining sets, and rocking-and-reclining sets, on footprints that stay under 2.5 metres on most. We make them all on the same aluminium-and-HDPE build, so you match the seat to how you actually use it rather than picking around your space.

• Sapcote Bistro Set in Grey Rattan - If you're replacing a steel-framed set that's already stained the paving, this is our entry point in the range. We pair two fixed bistro chairs with a 75cm round glass-top table on a 195cm by 180cm footprint, on the same aluminium-and-HDPE build as the rest of the range: no steel to rust, no PVC to crack. We include cushions and machine-washable covers on every Sapcote Bistro Set.
• Sharnford Stacking Rattan Bistro Set in Grey - We designed this set for balconies and courtyards where floor space matters more than seating capacity. The chairs stack onto each other and tuck under the 70cm table when you need the space back, and our aluminium frame stays outside all year whether the chairs are stacked or in use. We include cushions and machine-washable covers as standard.
• Sapcote Companion Set in Grey Rattan - Our companion set angles two chairs inward with a central glass-top table, sized for face-to-face conversation rather than side-by-side bench seating. The 198cm by 60cm footprint runs along the wall of a courtyard or under a bay window without taking the central floor space, so you talk across the table rather than looking out together. • Burton Reclining Rattan Bistro Set + Built in Footrests - Each Burton reclining chair has its footrest built directly into the frame, so there's no separate ottoman to step around when you don't want one and nothing to lose between summers. The synchronised mechanism extends the back and the footrest together through any angle from upright to fully back, not three preset positions. We sized this set to fit a standard two-seater footprint at roughly 271cm by 206cm.
• Burbage 2026 Rocking/Non-Rocking Recliner Bistro Set Silver Grey - Burbage 2026 is the top of the bistro range we make, and the only set in it that gives you both motions. Each chair rocks gently on flat ground and reclines through any angle from upright to fully back, and the Stop Rock Lock turns the rocker into a fixed armchair in a couple of seconds when you want it still. We hold the top of the range at £1,074, with rocker and recliner mechanisms layered onto the same aluminium-and-HDPE build that every set in the range uses.
