Does this actually work as one set for both lounging and dining?

Yes. Sofa-depth seating wraps a dining-height table at the centre, so plates and glasses rest on the surface for a proper meal. We designed this set so one piece of furniture replaces two.

In practice, that means morning coffee with feet up and a mug on the table, plates and gravy at Sunday lunch, then drinks back on the same table in the evening. One piece of furniture replaces two without taking over the patio.

Will the dark grey suit my patio and bi-fold trim?

Yes, usually. In natural light the tone is anthracite, so the rattan ties into dark slate, charcoal porcelain, anthracite bi-fold trim, or charcoal composite decking. If the architectural upgrade is already in that palette, this is the colour that sits with it rather than clashing.

Can I rearrange the layout if my patio shape is awkward?

Yes. The sections come apart and stand independently, so the layout follows the patio shape rather than clashing. Push everything in around the table for Sunday lunch, pull a section clear of a back-door swing when the bi-folds open wide, or separate the sofa from the chairs for a quieter weekday evening. Fixed-frame corner sofas commit you to one layout on day one, and garden use changes over a decade.

Is it really all-weather, no cover needed?

Yes. The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust, and we use a 0.2mm powder coating, two to three times thicker than what most aluminium garden furniture carries, so the coating doesn't break down through wet winters and freezing nights. We also use hand-woven UV-stabilised synthetic rattan, which won't fade, rot or go brittle when left outside year-round. The 5mm tempered glass doesn't crack in British winters the way ordinary glass can.

This means the structure is fully weatherproof and doesn't need a cover or storage, saving you the hassle and the £50 to £100 a cover would cost. Only the cushions need an evening routine; a deck box or a shelf indoors keeps them dry between uses. In our experience, customers come back ten or fifteen years later saying their rattan is just as good as when they first bought it.

How does this compare to other modular lounge dining sets at this price?

Cheaper lounge dining sets at this size use steel frames that rust within a couple of winters and PVC weaves that go brittle in the sun. You'd be replacing the set sooner and dealing with rust streaks on your paving in the meantime, which show up more obviously on darker stone than on lighter slabs.

The actual furniture is almost exactly the same as ours: aluminium frame, UV-stabilised rattan, 5mm tempered glass top. Is the glass on the table safe?

The table top uses 5mm tempered safety glass, which is made to handle temperature swings - warm afternoon sun to near-freezing overnight - without cracking. Standard glass can struggle with that in a British climate. It wipes clean easily after meals.

What's the difference between this and cheaper rattan lounge din

The big difference is the frame. Steel-frame sets can rust from the inside out through joints and bolt holes, even if they're powder-coated. This set uses an aluminium frame that cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round. Cheaper sets also tend to use thinner cushions that compress quickly and rattan that becomes brittle after a couple of summers.

How does this set seat 6 people?

The three-seat sofa takes three, and the armchairs fill the remaining places around the dining table, giving you seating for six. Most customers arrange the sofa on one side with the chairs opposite. Can I leave this modular lounge dining set outside all year roun

The frame is aluminium and the rattan is all-weather, so the structure stays outside all year round - no cover needed. Rain, frost, snow - none of it will damage the frame or weave. We advise storing the cushions when not in use to keep them comfortable and in good condition.

Is the dark grey rattan a good match for anthracite doors and gr

Dark grey is the colour most customers choose when they've already got anthracite window frames, bi-folds, or grey porcelain paving. It sits naturally alongside those tones without trying to match every shade exactly, and it doesn't show everyday dust as quickly as lighter colours.

What happens if I need help after delivery?

Do I need a cover in winter?

A cover is optional convenience, not a necessity. The aluminium frame cannot rust and the rattan handles rain and frost without issue, so the structure needs no winter protection. Store the cushions somewhere dry when you're not using them and that's all the care the set needs.

How much assembly is required?

Only the table. The seating arrives fully assembled. The table base is two panels joined by a central bar, with two screws each side of the bar, then four screws attach the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
