Most bistro sets feel fine for ten minutes, then you’re shifting around after half an hour - this is the upgrade. The Sapcote Deluxe Reclining Set in grey rattan is for when you want the comfort of a lounge chair, but you only need seating for two - on a patio, a decking area, or a balcony.
The big difference is how the chairs recline. Instead of the stiff push-back style you get on most cheaper sets, we chose a side-handle reclining mechanism so you can adjust your position without forcing your weight against the frame. In our experience, that's the detail that turns "sit outside for 10 minutes" into "stay out until the sun drops."
Steel rusts from the inside out. Moisture gets in through bolt holes and joints where powder coating can't fully seal, and by the time you see orange marks on the outside, the internal structure is already weakened. Over 23 years at our Leicestershire nursery, we've seen customers come to us after two or three seasons with a steel-frame set that's failing at the joints - legs wobbling before they even notice the staining.
