What is weave garden furniture made from?

Modern weave garden furniture is made from synthetic rattan strands of uPVC plastics. They are treated with UV stabilizors before being hand woven around an aluminium frame. This creates the weave effect of the chairs, and creates a natural give in them when you sit on them, making them more comfortable than a harder chair such as a garden bench.
